Mohali STPI Exports Touch Rs 827 crore

Exports from Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Mohali, including the special economic zone (SEZ), have witnessed an increase during the first nine months of 2009-10 as compared with the same period in the previous year.

While exports from STPI-Mohali, including SEZ, during the first nine months of the current fiscal stood at Rs. 827.14 crore, these are up by Rs. 84.43 crore as against RS. 742.71 crore achieved in the corresponding period of 2008-09. During 2008-09, software exports from STPI-Mohali were to the rune of RS. 1,088.39 crore . In the current fiscal, software exports from STPI-Mohali are expected to cross Rs. 1,300 crore assuming 25% growth over the previous year.
