smartData KTower Grand Opening Ceremony
On 21 December 2024, smartData Enterprises marked a major milestone with the grand opening of the smartData KTower (Kanchanjunga Tower) in Mohali. This was a celebration of the company’s growth, vision and future.
The excitement was felt right from the start.
The event welcomed several special guests, including Chief Guests Mr. Mason Skiff Brutschy and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brutschy. Chairman Dr. Sanjai Tiwari was present, along with Mrs. Fukiko Otsubo and Ms. Maya Otsubo Tiwari. CEO, Mr. Ajay Tewari and Mrs Anjali Tewari – whose leadership continues to guide smartData – added a sense of pride to the evening.
Delegates from the Nagpur and Dehradun branches also joined, bringing the whole smartData team under one roof.
The evening began with a series of cultural performances. The Nagpur team brought the Flavour of Maharashtra to the stage with a vibrant dance full of energy. Dehradun followed with a colourful celebration of Uttarakhand’s culture. Then came Mohali’s own Bhangra performance – a powerful, joyful tribute to the spirit of Punjab.
One of the most special moments of the evening was the Kishore Kumar instrumental mashup, performed by the Mohali music band. The melodies of a golden era filled the room, bringing back warm memories and leaving the audience captivated.

Later, as the energy settled, Chairman Dr. Sanjai Tiwari took the stage. In an inspiring speech, he shared the story behind KTower – a story of belief, bold ideas and overcoming challenges. The tower now stands as a lasting symbol of smartData’s legacy and ambition.
He also announced the new CEO of smartData India, Mr. Rakesh Pant. In addition to this, Mr. Ajay Tewari is now the Global CEO and MD of smartData Enterprises.
Needless to say, the evening ended on a high note – full of emotion, pride and a collective excitement for the road ahead. It was a celebration to remember.
