We are looking for a hands-on, full-cycle Enterprise Sales professional who can independently drive direct and platform-based (Upwork) sales for complex technology solutions.
This role is not for lead generators, inside sales, or India-market-focused profiles. It requires a strong engineering orientation, deep understanding of functional flows and integrated workflows, and the ability to sell platforms, integrations, and AI-native solutions to global clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own the entire sales lifecycle end-to-end:
- Prospecting (direct + strategic platform-led)
- Qualification and discovery
- Solution structuring and scoping
- Pricing and negotiation
- Closure and handover
- Drive new logo acquisition in global markets (North America, Asia Pacific, MENA, UK/EU)
- Actively sell via:
- Direct enterprise selling (networks, outreach, references)
- Upwork as a strategic entry channel (not volume bidding)
- Engage in consultative selling, translating business problems into:
- Functional workflows
- Integrated system architectures
- Phased solution roadmaps
- Work closely with engineering and solution teams to:
- Validate feasibility
- Control scope
- Maintain pricing discipline
- Build credibility with CXO / VP / Director-level stakeholders
- Position smartData as a long-term execution partner, not a transactional vendor
What This Role Is NOT:
- No lead-generation-only roles
- No inside sales or appointment setters
- No India domestic sales
- No dependence on marketing-qualified leads alone
Required Background & Skills:
Sales & Business:
- Proven experience in global B2B technology sales
- Demonstrated ownership of complex sales cycles
- Comfortable selling:
- B2B, B2C, B2B2C platforms
- SaaS, PaaS, and enterprise solutions
- Strong understanding of:
- Pricing discipline
- Pilot-to-scale engagements
- Enterprise buying behaviour
Engineering & Solution Understanding (Mandatory):
- Engineering background or strong technical orientation preferred
- Ability to understand and articulate:

Targets:
Targets are reviewed monthly and measured strictly on actual closures.
- Up to 2.5 years of experience: Monthly Target – USD 20,000
- Up to 3.0 years of experience: Monthly Target – USD 30,000
- Up to 4.0 years of experience: Monthly Target – USD 40,000
