In today’s fast-evolving workplace, organizations require an HR management system that not only streamlines operations but also prioritizes employee well-being. A next-generation HR platform with AI-driven automation helps businesses efficiently manage HR processes while ensuring employees’ mental health remains a core focus. By integrating advanced features such as payroll management, leave tracking, a Learning Management System (LMS), an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and seamless connectivity with tools like Okta, Microsoft Teams, and Slack, such a system enhances efficiency, engagement, and overall workforce productivity.

The primary objective of this project is to design and implement an event-driven backend system that automates the generation, validation, and delivery of healthcare-related EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files, such as 834 (Eligibility and Enrollment), 837 (Claims), and 835 (Remittance Advice). These files are essential for secure, standardized, and compliant data exchange between healthcare providers, payers, and regulatory partners.

This system aims to:

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and EDI X12 standards through rigorous validation (via Cotiviti).
• Enable seamless integration with external vendors like Avesis, Nations Benefits, and Reveleer through SFTP-based delivery mechanisms.
• Maintain operational transparency and traceability using real-time monitoring and logging via SigNoz.
• Support future scalability and workflow orchestration through modular design and integration with AWS services like SQS and Step Functions.

The project involved the development of an e-commerce platform dedicated to the buying and selling of gift cards. The system supports both vendors offering pre-existing gift cards and those creating new ones. The platform includes features for user authentication, gift card management, seller and buyer interfaces, secure payment processing, and administrative reporting.
Advanced functionalities such as group gifting, ratings and reviews, and promotional ad spaces for vendors were also implemented to enhance engagement and vendor visibility.
