Lockdown brought smarTians face to face with the unknown. The way operations have continued for over 100 days is a testimony to precise planning, continuous monitoring, and exemplary hard work and dedication towards work and the associated livelihood. Video conferencing has helped. The water cooler talks have been replaced with virtual settings. There have been numerous talk sessions and video conferences for the last three months. The calls have been both formal settings to discuss work and informal off work conversations. This has been a great way of conversing with people and knowing how they are doing in these heightened state of anxiety due to pandemic & offering help and support and solace in any way possible. Fundus Digital Sketchpad and Information Management

The application consists of two parts, a digital sketchpad and data entry utility for iPad and iPhone and a backend application developed for doctors & researchers. The mobile application streamlines and accelerates the process of fundus drawing and note-taking through the inclusion of preloaded templates and pathological pictographs (referred to within the application as “glyphs”) that can be dragged and pasted into place, rotated, and resized through the use of simple touchscreen gestures.
It also accommodates add text notes, which can be typed manually or entered via voice dictation. Used glyphs, as well as any noted pathologies, contribute to the drawing’s metadata footprint for later indexing and retrieval. Finished drawings can be exported individually or in a batch securely in .pdf format to a printer (for paper charts) or to an email (for upload to an EHR system).

The backend application collects/imports data from different data sources like EPIC, upload database file, which can be further managed by different categories & metatag to use it as case studies & further researches. The application has a subscription based model, where medical professionals can manage 'N' numbers of databases. A medical professional can categorize patient data and organize it.
