From July 20 to August 24, this was an opportunity to strengthen and forge relationships, participate in tech conferences, meetups and fireside chats, share insights, and explore new avenues for growth and engage in valuable exchanges.

Throughout this visit, I connected with valued clients, former clients, and potential business partners across seven major cities, including New York City, Jersey City, Provo, San Diego, Los Angeles, Berkley and San Francisco. Each interaction provided insight into our clients’ evolving needs, dynamic business landscape and the various resource challenges. I shared our latest advancement in next gen technologies such as blockchain, advanced data solutions , AI and ML illustrating how these are helping clients overcome challenges, increase agility and scale rapidly. Also foster stronger partnerships rooted in mutual success. From boardrooms to tech meetups, each conversation highlighted our commitment to impactful collaboration.

One of the most meaningful aspects of this visit was the opportunity to participate in tech conferences, meetups, and fireside chats. On 3 August 2024, we came together to celebrate a milestone that means so much to everyone who’s been part of this journey — smartData’s 25th anniversary. It was a day filled with reflection, pride and renewed excitement for what lies ahead.

The celebrations began with a team lunch, where people from every department gathered to mark the occasion. There was a special energy in the air — a mix of nostalgia and joy as colleagues caught up, shared memories, and looked back at how far we’ve come. That sense of unity, built over years of shared work and trust, was clear in every conversation.

After lunch, the mood shifted to fun, with light-hearted activities that had everyone joining in. More than just games, these moments brought out what makes our culture unique — strong teamwork, creative thinking, and genuine camaraderie. It was a chance to reconnect, laugh together and take a break from the day-to-day.

Later, our CEO, Mr Ajay Tewari, took the stage to share his thoughts. His speech struck a perfect balance between looking back and looking ahead. He spoke about the early days of smartData — the challenges, the turning points, and the belief that carried us through it all. His words reminded us that success doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built step by step, through vision, effort and perseverance.

The senior management team followed with a look at what’s next. They shared an exciting roadmap focused on innovation, learning and leadership — a clear direction for where we’re headed in the years to come. The message was simple and powerful: while we’ve come a long way, we’re just getting started.

In June 2024, I embarked on a productive two-week business trip across Charlotte, New York, Pittsburgh, and Orlando. This journey provided valuable opportunities to engage with existing clients and potential partners, showcasing smartData’s healthcare expertise and addressing their specific questions about our capabilities.

While meetings with existing healthcare clients I gathered feedback on our services, reviewed product roadmaps, and demonstrated new capabilities, including Cloud Services , Next Gen technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) , Blockchain . These discussions reinforced our commitment to supporting their growth and evolving needs, as well as exploring new business opportunities together.

Additionally, I connected with some new partners one case study to share here was new partner interested in a unified platform to streamline their operations—from patient intake to prescription delivery—eliminating the need for multiple systems. I proposed a comprehensive solution featuring a single platform with custom API integrations taking care of HIPAA compliance and interoperability standards like

FHIR/HL7 to meet these needs, which aligned with their vision. They are now a client, and we have initiated the development of this tailored solution.

Overall, this trip was a success, strengthening our partnerships, advancing business opportunities, and deepening my appreciation of U.S. culture.

This journey was more than just a series of meetings—it was an immersive experience in building relationships, expanding knowledge, and uncovering new growth opportunities across the United States.

Starting with exploratory visits to Austin, Houston, and Atlanta, I concluded the journey in New York for insightful meetings with clients and prospects. Along the way, I engaged with current clients, past collaborators, and new business prospects New York City, Washington DC, and more. Each connection offered a unique perspective on our clients’ evolving needs, the dynamic business landscape, and various resource challenges.

I was able to share our latest advancements in next-gen technologies—such as blockchain, advanced data solutions, AI, and ML—and illustrate how these innovations are empowering clients to overcome challenges, increase agility, and scale rapidly. These discussions have laid the groundwork for stronger partnerships centred around mutual success.

A highlight of the visit was participating CogX Tech conference in Los Angeles. This event provided an invaluable platform to exchange ideas, discuss industry trends, and showcase our AI consultative strengths.
