At smartData, we kicked off the year with exactly that spirit during our Golgappa Gettogether & Happy Moment Celebration at the Mohali office. The morning of 19 January 2025 was full of energy, excitement, and quiet determination as the Tata Mumbai Marathon brought together runners from all walks of life. Among them were four proud smarTians, representing smartData Enterprises with purpose, grit, and a deep belief in the values we stand for.

Leading the charge was our MD & Global CEO, Mr Ajay Tewari, whose enthusiasm and drive continue to set the tone for the entire organisation. Alongside him, Vivek Sharma, Mohinder Singh, and Shashi Bhushan took on the full 42-kilometre challenge — a powerful display of stamina, teamwork, and resilience. Navigating the unpredictable Mumbai weather and the intensity of the route, each of them showed what it means to stay focused, push through, and finish strong.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was the traditional bonfire. Rather than simply watching from the sidelines, smarTians gathered around, singing folk songs, clapping along to the beat of the dhol, and joining in the dance. Bhangra and giddha performances added life to the celebration, turning it into a moment that felt alive and shared by all. The celebration continued with a delicious spread of traditional Lohri treats. Everyone came together to enjoy makki di roti, sarson da saag, rewari, gajak and til ke laddoo.
