Various images were given as the data set for the development of an algorithm to find the roughness of the surface of the product. The algorithm is fed with two images namely reference image and distorted image and after comparing as well as analyzing both images, An estimated distortion percentage is calculated which is aligned with the human judgment in comparing the two images.
