smartData at the AI Impact Summit 2026, New Delhi

A few of our team members spent the week in Delhi at the AI Impact Summit, and they came back with notebooks full and brains slightly overloaded.

It wasn’t one of those events where you walk away thinking AI will magically fix everything. If anything, the conversations were more grounded than that. People were talking about what actually happens after the pilot phase… when tools meet real users, real regulations, and real constraints.

There was a lot of discussion around implementation rather than innovation. How do you roll out AI without disrupting teams? How do you make outputs understandable and trustworthy? How do you build systems people will actually use, not just admire in demos?

Some sessions focused on sector realities — healthcare, public services, finance — and the common thread was clear: adoption is less about capability and more about clarity, training, and trust.

Our team came back with a few strong insights, some new connections, and a healthy reminder that meaningful adoption is slower and more human than headlines suggest.

Back to work, slightly wiser.
