The AI Application Developer is the primary builder for each project. The developer takes requirements end-to-end—from understanding the functional need and application design to delivering a working solution—and works directly with the internal IT team that bridges the business and offshore team. A core requirement is the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into precise, well-structured Claude prompts that produce high-quality, complete application code across backend, frontend, and AI services.
Skillset Required
Claude & AI Development (Must Have)
- Build full-stack applications end-to-end using Claude (Anthropic).
- Capability must be demonstrated through a practical assessment.
Prompt Engineering (Must Have)
- Create structured and precise prompts that direct Claude to generate production-quality code across Java, Python, and React.
Business Analysis (Must Have)
- Interpret requirements from the Aujan IT team and translate business needs into technical designs.
Backend – Java (Must Have)
- Strong experience with Java (OpenJDK 21).
- Build business logic and REST APIs using Spring Boot.
Backend – Python (Must Have)
- Develop AI microservices using Python and FastAPI alongside the Java backend.
AI Frameworks (Strong Advantage)
- Experience with Spring AI.
- Knowledge of LangChain and LangGraph for agent-based AI use cases.
Frontend & UI (Must Have)
- Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Frontend & UI (Strong Advantage)
- Experience developing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
AI Platform (Strong Advantage)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry / Azure OpenAI, including API integration and model selection.
- Experience using Azure AI Search to query application indexes.
Data (Must Have)
- Design data models using Azure SQL.
- Create JPA entities and manage schema migrations.
Infrastructure (Must Have)
- Containerize Java and Python services using Docker.
Infrastructure (Strong Advantage)
- Knowledge of Azure Container Apps.
- Experience with Azure Entra ID (MSAL) for authentication.
- Understanding of Azure Key Vault for deployment and security.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 4–5 years of software development experience.
- Demonstrable experience building applications using Claude or equivalent AI coding assistants in a production environment is essential.
- Candidates who have built complete solutions primarily through AI-assisted development will be preferred.
