Lockdown brought smarTians face to face with the unknown. The way operations have continued for over 100 days is a testimony to precise planning, continuous monitoring, and exemplary hard work and dedication towards work and the associated livelihood. Video conferencing has helped. The water cooler talks have been replaced with virtual settings. There have been numerous talk sessions and video conferences for the last three months. The calls have been both formal settings to discuss work and informal off work conversations. This has been a great way of conversing with people and knowing how they are doing in these heightened state of anxiety due to pandemic & offering help and support and solace in any way possible. Some of the continued efforts by the different group which requires mention are given below :-
This year, our Holi celebration at the office was truly special. We celebrated the festival of colors over two days, bringing energy, laughter, and joy to the workplace.
The office was full of colors, music, and happy moments as team members came together to play Holi, dance, and enjoy time with colleagues, family, and friends. Of course, no Holi is complete without sweets — "the gujiyas" were a big hit with everyone!
“Holi is not just about colors, it’s about joy, togetherness, and ...
Last weekend, 27 members of the smartData team laced up their running shoes and took part in the Chandigarh Marathon and it turned into much more than just a race.
There were early alarms, sleepy faces at the start line, nervous stretching, and that shared buzz you only get when people show up together for something outside their daily routine. Some ran to beat their personal best. Some ran to restart their fitness journey. Others simply ran for the joy of being part of it.
By the time t...
A few of our team members spent the week in Delhi at the AI Impact Summit, and they came back with notebooks full and brains slightly overloaded.
It wasn’t one of those events where you walk away thinking AI will magically fix everything. If anything, the conversations were more grounded than that. People were talking about what actually happens after the pilot phase… when tools meet real users, real regulations, and real constraints.
There was a lot of discussion around implementati...
Rohit Verma, our Senior Director, represented smartData at World Health Expo Dubai this year. It was one of those events where the real value wasn’t in the presentations, but in the conversations happening in corridors, over coffee, and between sessions.
A lot of what people talked about felt familiar. Healthcare systems everywhere are under pressure: more patients, stricter compliance requirements, tighter resources. And while technology is part of the solution, many providers are still d...
Under the leadership of Ajay Tewari, TiE Chandigarh is quietly becoming a space where real conversations around AI are actually happening.
At the AI Summit 2026, his focus on glocal AI really stood out. Building with global capability, but grounding solutions in local context, constraints, and culture. It’s a perspective that often gets missed when AI conversations stay too abstract or too Silicon Valley-coded.
What made this session refreshing was the balance.
Clear communication.

Lohri, a festival deeply rooted in tradition and cultural significance, marks the end of the winter solstice and celebrates gratitude, prosperity, and new beginnings. At smartData, this significance was felt not only through rituals, but thro...
The excitement began building days in advance. Conversations carried a sense of mystery, smiles hinted at hidden surprises, and an unmistakable festive buzz flowed through the offices. Quiet guesses about Secret Santas, cheerful speculation around gifts, and the growing anticipation of celebration created an atmosphere that was impossible to ignore. As 25th December finally arrived, that collective anticipation transformed into a vibrant, high-energy celebration as teams across the Mohali Head O...
Christmas is a season of joy, generosity, and togetherness. This year, employees at smartData brought the festive spirit to life through a cloth donation drive conducted across the Mohali Head Office, Nagpur, and Dehradun branches. The initiative was designed to extend warmth, care, and comfort to those in need during the winter season, adding a meaningful dimension to the celebrations.
The response from employees was inspiring. Team members enthusiastically contributed clothes ranging from w...

Care Connect is a 24/7 telecare alarm response service for elderly clients in Jersey, Channel Islands. Their existing system routed SOS alerts through a four-hop chain — pendant → SMS → relay → webhook with no monitoring at any stage. A device went offline undetected, leaving a client without emergency cover.
smartData built a purpose-built Operations Dashboard that connects EV12 pendants directly, surfaces SOS, device-offline, and low-battery alerts in real time, and embeds full client context address, medical conditions, emergency contacts on every alert.
The platform replaces Microsoft Power Apps as the client management tool, giving operations staff a single workspace for the entire monitoring workflow. Built on ASP.NET Core with Blazor, MQTT, and WebSocket infrastructure, the MVP delivers eleven functional modules across a 10-week timeline.
Scalable Construction Supply ERP with AI Automation and Financial Integration
The objective of this project was to transform a fast-growing construction materials supplier into a fully integrated, AI-enabled digital operations platform.
The client was managing bulk orders, warehouse coordination, supplier procurement, and accounting across disconnected systems. This resulted in delayed responses, manual reconciliation, limited stock visibility, and heavy dependency on staff for routine customer queries.
Our goal was to build a unified ERP ecosystem using ZohoOne, fully integrated with MYOB for financial control, while embedding AI Agents to automate customer communication and operational support.
The AI Agents were designed to:
Instantly respond to customer queries related to order status, invoices, and delivery timelines
Reduce dependency on manual call handling
Provide 24/7 support without increasing headcount
Assist internal teams with quick data lookup and order insights
Improve response time and customer satisfaction
This solution was not only about automation - it was about creating an intelligent operational backbone that improves efficiency, reduces overhead, strengthens financial accuracy, and supports scalable growth.
In today’s regulatory environment, ensuring that service providers meet all compliance requirements is critical. Our platform is designed to address the complexities of managing and tracking compliance documents, a task that is often cumbersome and prone to human error when handled manually.
The platform provides a comprehensive solution by allowing users to upload, store, and manage compliance documents in a centralized repository. The system automatically tracks the status of each document, sending reminders for updates and flagging any discrepancies or missing documentation. Additionally, the platform supports robust reporting features, enabling government bodies and STRAT to generate detailed reports on the compliance status of all service providers in real-time.
It is developed for a Japan-based single cleaning solutions provider company to automate and manage their day-to-day workflow and processes for a single cleaning solutions provider company. The solution aims to improve efficiency in managing staff, streamline reporting, and enhance communication between staff and superiors.
The system is web-based for company admins and staff and a mobile app for site workers that has the feature of offline sync when site staff works in the basement or out of network connectivity. It has role-based access features, allowing managerial staff to manage staff and schedules, and staff users have limited access to the web interface (To share a customized report with their superiors). It allows tracking the workload and activities of site workers for cleaning and maintaining multiple sites, along with a standard reporting format.
This system will be used to provide home care to disable patients and provides a fast, easy-of-use, robust solution for the care providers and patient shifts management.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is an independent statutory agency and its role is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers. NDIS provides grants to disabled patients to take home-care services which help to improve their lives.
We developed this system for the Home care service providers who provide daycare providers to NDIS-approved patients.
An AI-native takeoff and intelligent document processing platform for the commercial construction industry that automates material (glass, doors, window) takeoff and hardware extraction from architectural project documents. The solution processes floor plans, elevations, material schedules, specifications, and related drawings to identify, classify, and extract information with high accuracy.
It applies engineering rules to validate extracted data, highlights discrepancies, and enables estimators to review, verify, and export standardized Excel outputs.
The platform significantly reduces manual estimation effort, improves consistency, and accelerates bid preparation while maintaining full traceability back to the source drawings.
