An occasion very close to the heart of every Indian. The Day 26th of January was the most remarkable day in history which was achieved after a long struggle and endeavor.
Once again, smarTians with full enthusiasm sponsored this special day as a memory for every employee to recapture the past memories of our freedom fighters and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation. The struggle is real that felt in our hearts with deep consoles.
smartData marked republic day with an enthusiastic celebration involving employees and their families. The entire office was decorated as per the republic day theme. This day symbolizes diverse cultures, growth and sacrifice.
What’s special about the day/ Highlights
This special day started with a walkathon from Sukhna lake to our office in Mohali.
The Event began with the unfurling of the national flag by our chairman and CEO, followed by the singing of the national anthem. The fell is real at that particular moment when everyone sings our national anthem with a good beat. Our Col. Munish Bhanot (Sr. Director) addresses all the org. wide smarTians and emphasized the importance of the day and the value of the constitution.
Activities
- Dance Performance
The First performance of the day was represented by the Prasanchetas foundation. It was a great dance to showcase our love and true emotions for our nation.
- Patriotism Skit/Act (Mime on Freedom Fighters)
At that particular period of time, a lot of people sacrificed their life so that we can live better life. This mime was our tribute to our freedom fighters, soldiers and all other patriots who have selflessly given their lives for the sake of the country.
- Skit/Act (Story on Army person)
This sensational performance was performed by our sDirects to recreate memories of our great heroes and freedom fighters. The foremost duty of a soldier is to serve their country without any selfish motive. This act resembles the same and gives us a great lesson.
- Zumba/parade performance
We at smartData always initiate our employees to be physically and mentally fit. Zumba is a great way to keep smarTians more energetic and focused towards their job. This performance was a great collaboration with our patriotic songs to encourage our team members to engage themselves with physical exercises.
- Two individual_group Performance
A real heart-touched performance by our talented employees makes this special day more energetic and exciting. The dance was performed on a patriotic song “Vande Mataram”.
- Singing
Last but not the least, this special day ended with a soothing patriotic song. It inspires the feeling of pride and boosts our morale in a time of crisis. Every smarTian enjoyed the performance.
- Refreshment and Sweets Distribution
When it comes to celebrate any special occasion, the distribution of sweets makes the day more special. The refreshment hampers and sweets were distributed to all present there. These are the highlights of a complete day.
It makes a difference if we explore a few new ways, and define our constitution to live right, with the new ways that we are getting exposed to.
