Independence Day in India is observed fervently in the country and at smartData Enterprises. This year, too, the festivities were noteworthy as India commemorated its 74th Independence Day, celebrated in all 3 locations keeping in mind the safety of the smarTians, virtual sessions on social media organized for all smarTians to witness the flag hoisting ceremony accompanied by a sweet distribution to the less privileged.

We began from a small office on the 03rd August, 1999 with a great vision. This is a long and fruitful journey that we enjoy every year. This year too, On the occasion of our 21st Work Anniversary we recalled the day by awarding smarTians and support staff with huge bonuses for their exceptional performances for going above and beyond the call of Duty.

The smartConnect program initiated in August by our CEO is an initiative focusing on remote connects with smarTians to know about their and their family's well-being and get them familiar with the upcoming growth opportunities. The group conversation as part of smartConnect program ensured a constant connection irrespective of diverse work environments. smarTians have availed this opportunity to connect with their leaders and teams also.

smartData is taking the initiative to thank all the people who supported the community during COVID-19, from doctors to all vendors. We have been thanking and honoring the corona warriors on the front lines with a series of tweets and messages. Special thank you notes were shared with smart Warriors (smartData's IS team, admin staff, and the senior management), who are making our lives and remote working easier.

Ongoing training programs encourage creativity and forward-thinking. Virtual sessions on the changing needs of the healthcare ecosystem and deep discussions on the current & upcoming demands of the global market were the main highlights of the training. These training programs are well designed and allow smarTians to polish their skills to meet ever-changing IT demands by mapping tech solutions to real-world problems.

The smartData cultural league “Abhivyakti” was launched remotely – another “new” in this new normal. The auditions started in May and, even as first of its kind, there was a lot of creativity in this event. It fulfills our commitment to striking the perfect balance between work, life, and fitness. Another new aspect of this event is that the families of the employees have also been allowed to participate to enhance employee engagement and unity in diversity.

Celebrations and recognition are ingrained in our culture. It is incumbent upon us to encourage a project culture that incorporates an appropriate amount of recognition for individual and team accomplishments. Having an environment appreciating professionals for their team efforts and success are few important positive factors at an organisation.

An open lunch discussion with young leaders was conducted at our Nagpur branch where like-minded professionals connected to discuss over new business ideas, enhancements to current approach, software development model, agile outlook and latest technology updates to enhance and upgrade their knowledge, skills & for delivering quick quality services.

Establishing mutual respect & good working relationship always has a higher priority. A mixer was held at Mohali where client and his project team members joined in for a healthy discussion where opinions for every individual were admired. We welcome such conversations and having them done in an informal way makes it more engaging and interesting.
