Approach & Solution
smartData re-engineered the portal on a clean architecture in ASP.NET Core 8, separating domain, application, infrastructure and web layers behind a repository and unit-of-work pattern with an async service layer. Legacy business logic was migrated one-to-one while improving code quality, security and testability throughout.
Live metal-price lock-in and pool management run off a cached external market feed. Native carrier shipping covers packing lists, rate shopping, label and barcode generation and tracking, and sensitive data such as tax identifiers and wire details is encrypted, with structured logging across the platform.
