Product Summary

The client runs a 5,000+ member soccer community on Facebook and organizes games manually through posts, which limits registration, retention and monetization. smartData is building a React Native mobile app (iOS and Android) with an admin dashboard that brings those players onto one platform. It supports organizer-run House Games and approved Host Games, shareable game links with deferred deep linking, waitlists that auto-promote on cancellations, and Stripe Connect payments with host payouts. Six revenue streams are built in from release one: service fees, refundable no-show deposits, recurring memberships, host listing fees, sponsorships and house-game margins, with a promo mode to switch fees on or off. Admin analytics show which Facebook posts produce registrations and paying members.

Technical Challenges

• Stripe authorization holds expire after about 7 days, but games are often booked further ahead. : Re-authorization and capture/refund logic designed up front, with an admin-set capture window of about 5 hours pre-kickoff.
• Facebook users without the app or an account must reach the exact game and reserve with little drop-off. : Unique game links with deferred deep linking and quick social sign-up return users to the same game after install.
• Payments must be split between platform and hosts, with fees, holds and refunds that vary by game. : Stripe Connect multi-party payouts with admin-configurable fee, refund-tier and payout hold-period rules.
