smartData architected a multi-role SaaS platform on Node.js and PostgreSQL for landlords, tenants and administrators, designed around a jurisdiction-based rules engine rather than treating compliance as a report over generic property management. Rent collection is automated with reconciliation, and leases cover storage and e-signature.
A compliance engine maps province and state regulation to workflows and validates actions against them, driving automated generation of compliant notices for late rent, increases and eviction. Physical and digital delivery is tracked end to end, producing the proof of service that dispute proceedings require.
